Wildwind Adventures Scuba Package for Beginners

• No previous experience or qualification required – just the ability to swim
• Comprehensive safety briefing
• Equipment introduction Guided underwater experience (45 minutes)
• Maximum depth: 5-7 meters

An afternoon’s complete introduction to scuba diving for beginners or those wanting to refresh any existing knowledge. Starts with a full safety briefing and a thorough introduction to the equipment before donning wetsuits and heading out on the dive boat.  Depending on weather conditions you’ll be going to one of the preferred beginner diving spots outside Vassiliki bay where you’ll wade out from the beach getting used to breathing underwater in shallow water before venturing out a little further and taking your first proper dive!  George’s team will be giving personal instruction and making sure everyone is comfortable, especially kids, although usually they grasp the principles even quicker than their parents!

For certified divers (PADI or equivalent) the opportunity to participate in two dives tailored to individual preferences. Site options include wrecks, reefs, coves and caverns. Depths up to 40m.
For those who hold a PADI Open Water Certificate or equivalent licence, and looking to explore the vibrant underwater world with professional guidance, we offer the chance to join two dives of your own choice.  The Nautilus team will talk over with you the sites that might interest you, given your logged experience, capabilities and interests.  Choose from reefs, wrecks, coves and caverns, with sites such as the Wall, Americano, Lighthouse & Lagoon and many more.

Americano – max depth 14m
Our favourite site for both beginners and those with diving experience. Just a 5-minute boat trip from Vassiliki Bay to the spectacular Americano dive site. With depths from 2-14 meters, this underwater haven boasts stunning rock formations and pinnacles. Marvel at the rich marine life including sea breams, sand perch, parrotfish, octopuses, and a flourishing population of nudibranchs. Americano is not just a dive; it’s an aquatic adventure, offering divers of every level a unique and memorable underwater experience.

The Wall – max depth 34m
Experience a stunning drop-off that plunges vertically from the surface to 60m, featuring a beautiful reef at the top with a 5m depth, perfect for a safety stop. Explore a descending canyon leading to a small cavern teeming with shrimps. Encounter big groupers and numerous breams, with promising opportunities to spot pelagic fishes in this diverse and thrilling dive site.

The Lighthouse – max depth 40m
The Lighthouse of Lefkada, Greece, located on Cape Ducato in southern Lefkada, offers a unique diving experience. Built in 1913, it’s famed for its 40-meter depth and 30-meter visibility, ideal for encountering lobsters. However, due to strong currents, only experienced divers with expert guidance should attempt this dive.

The Lagoon – max depth 15m
Lagoon, a serene reef diving site with a depth of 15 meters and visibility of 4 meters, is perfectly suited for Open Water certified divers. This tranquil underwater haven offers a gentle yet captivating dive experience. Its shallow waters are ideal for those new to diving or looking to enjoy a relaxed exploration. The Lagoon’s lush reef environment, teeming with marine life, provides a picturesque backdrop for underwater adventure, making it an excellent choice for divers seeking a peaceful and scenic dive.
